Quality Assurance Manager

£36,532 - £43,622

You will work in the Academic and Clinical Central Office for Research and Development (ACCORD). Enthusiastic and dynamic, you will implement and maintain a Quality Assurance programme to ensure research carried out in Edinburgh is in accordance with ACCORD policies and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure departments involved in clinical trials meet appropriate accreditation standards and promote quality improvement within research, clinical and laboratory practices related to clinical research.

With experience and formal training in Quality Assurance, you will have management and communication skills and be trained in ICH GCP. A good working knowledge of the Research Governance Framework for Health and Community Care, Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations and other regulations governing clinical research are essential.

Please note this post is fixed term for 2 years.
